RaceBets HWPA Tipping Competition – result Leg 3

Nigel Spencer (+46.75) napped 33-1 winner Ornate on Saturday to storm to victory in Leg 3 – the ‘Classics Leg’ –  the RaceBets HWPA tipping competition.

Nigel’s inspired selection clawed back Paul Jones (+29.61), who had looked booked for victory on the back of napping Moyassar (10-1) at Newmarket on 2,000 Guineas day.

Third place went to Matt Brocklebank (+17.75), who tipped 1,000 Guineas winner Hermosa and Derby winner Anthony Van Dyck.

Nigel wins £400, Paul £100 and Matt £50.

FLAT GRAND SLAM

Matt Brocklebank’s two Classic winners puts him in pole position in the Classics Grand Slam, with the St Leger to go. But there are still six tipsters in with a chance to win:
